The wisdom of the 13 Indigenous Grandmothers
This special week of traditional prayer, meditations, silence, ceremony, and council is open to all women and men of goodwill. Througout the retreat, the 13 Grandmothers offer prayers and teachings from their own unique wisdom traditions-traditions that have served their people for hundreds of years, and are needed now more than ever- in an effort to ease war, environmental degradation, and social ills.
Mia is honoured to be personal assistant to Grandmother Tsering Dolma Gyaltong of Tibet, for this gathering.
